Reconciling in Christ Affirmation of Welcome
Reconciling in Christ Affirmation of Welcome

June 2008, updated June 2021

In response to God’s unconditional love, the people of Marin Lutheran Church invite and welcome all, worship and celebrate, teach and learn, serve and share.

We affirm with the apostle Paul that in Christ, “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.”  (Galatians 3:28).  Christ calls us to reconciliation and wholeness and challenges us to be agents of healing within our society.  In that spirit, Marin Lutheran Church welcomes all people regardless of age, ethnicity, physical or mental ability, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. All are welcome to fully participate in the life and ministry of this congregation. We are committed to promote racial equity within our congregation, community and the world.
