The Marin Lutheran Church Council is the governing body of our church. They meet once a month (second Monday) at 7:00pm in the Community Room. You are welcome and invited to attend their meetings.


Highlights of Recent Council Meeting

July 2019 Council Meeting Highlights:

  • Approval of Clark Pest Control to remediate subterranean termite problem in church building.
  • Ongoing discussion on pending projects


August 2019 Council Meeting Highlights:

  • Approved Worship and Music recommendation to continue with one 9:30AM service
  • Approved new audit committee members -Lorri Reinders to a 3 year term and Michael Rosendahl to an open one year term.
  • Ongoing discussion on pending projects


Special Congregational Meeting on 8/18/19

A special congregational meeting was called at the close of worship on Sunday, August 18th. Both items on the agenda were approved:

  1. Approval of the expenditure of up to $10,470 raised by the matching grant for property related projects. Funds will be used to renovate the parish hall bathroom and replace the hot water heater in the education building and any misc. property costs covered by the balance
  2. Approval of establishing a $200,000 secured line of credit from Thrivent Federal Credit Union
